Eco Camping and slow glamping on a natural long grassy meadow in the heart of beautiful East Anglia on our working Arable Farm. Situated right on the border of Suffolk and Norfolk, in the stunning Brecklands we are ideally placed for day trips to Norwich, Cambridge, Ipswich, Bury St. Edmunds, Newmarket, the beaches at Holkham, Southwold, and all of the things East Anglia has to offer.

Eco Camping and Glamping

Pitches, StarDome and unfurnished bell tents are all available to hire. Whole site bookings are available too, for birthday treats or family getaways. We are almost completely off-grid, with solar power for lights and a solar and wood fired shower. Our water is recycled, and we encourage all our guests to be kind to the environment during their stay with us. Whether you want a campsite to pitch a tent, or slow glamping with a bit more luxury, you’ll find a warm welcome at Ling’s Meadow.

Welcome to Ling’s Meadow

Our 2024 bookings calendar is now live! We will be open from 24th May until 28th September 2024. We are opening slightly later than usual due to the very wet start to the year. If the weather improves enough in the spring we will open up availability for May nearer the time.

Come and find your happy place.

Our Farm

Arrived feeling exhausted and broken after an incredibly difficult term. Leaving feeling refreshed, calm and at peace.

Beautiful, remote campsite, so much space to pitch our tent

We were blown away by the setting, facilities and the owners and look forward to returning as a group again. It has been wonderful.

May the gentle breeze forever whisper through the long grass of Ling's Meadow.

We can't even remember the date, which indicates how relaxing this place is! ... we all had a fabulous stay and rarely do I say that the toilets were a real highlight!

What a delicious spot of gorgeousness!

We've only come from just down the road, but despite torrential rain we've had a lovely time. We absolutely love the site and will definitely recommend it!

A delightful place to be, cared for by passionate owners

Thanks for such a lovely time, and for taking the time to chat with us too.

We had a wonderful long weekend in the sunshine at Ling's Meadow. Beautiful campsite with lots for the children to explore. We will remember it forever as our daughter learnt to ride a bike here!

As seasoned campers, I would say this is the best site we're ever been to and we'll be recommending it to our friends and family

There are campsite and there are glampsites and then there is Ling's Meadow. It doesn't try to be something it just is.

We really loved our stay, so many thoughtful touches, including the fire pit at each (pitch) and the cleaning materials provided in the loos and kitchen

Slept really well in the StarDome. Love it!

Thank you for a fab camping baptism at 58 years old. Never too late!

We stumbled upon Ling's Meadow looking for somewhere as an easy escape from home, and we are so happy that we have found it!

Came late at night on the 6th and were thoroughly welcomed.

A fantastic stay - thank you. So fantastic to be able to turn up on bikes and have so much to use.

I had heard it was possible to have a composting loo which doesn't smell and now I know it's true!

A welcome respite from where we live and work in London. Arrived by bike to a warm welcome!

We had a fantastic few days seeing stars, playing football and having a fire as the sun went down.

I am actually going home with inspiration of what I can do to better help the planet.

A truly fantastic place to camp, relax and just be!

Our favourite campsite! Beautiful, relaxed campsite. So Pretty. Just love it.

Inspiring to see land managed for wildlife and with thoughtful eco-touches to impact as little as possible

The space is amazing, and I am leaving but a little bit of me will remain. See you next year!

Fantastic campsite, brilliant facilities and even better that it's self sufficient

A welcome respite from where we live and work in London. Arrived by bike to a warm welcome!

Lovely tranquil stay. Hearing the crickets in the grass and raindrops on the tent. When the sun did come out, the meadow was transformed :)

Highlight had to be a stunning sunset, the brightest moon and socialising in the communal tent and around the campfire. Oh! and a guest appearance from the barn owl. Thank you.

The best compost loos we've ever seen

The kids were more than occupied with the games and open space, so the grown-ups could relax.

What a wonderful campsite. In 17 years of camping, my favourite!

Really big space for cartwheels!

The alpaca walk was the highlight!

The cleanest campsite ever, it's a joy to take a shower :) We can't wait to come again...

An amazing place in a beautiful meadow. Stunned by the surrounding countryside. We will be back, thanks for everything!

What a magical place! We hired the whole site for a birthday celebration and it completely exceeded our expectations!

We were amazed at how beautiful and child friendly this campsite is.

The whole place has a peaceful air about it

We love that as a result of Covid changes, where some sites have removed facilities, you guys have improved them

This place is amazing! It feels like you are actually camping

The bell tents were really spacious. Ling's Meadow was my first camping experience and I enjoyed it a lot!

Do we have to go home? What an amazing, beautiful, fantastic place! Thank you for making us feel so welcome.
